    It will also go down as one of the most popular LS crate engines ever offered, with 505 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. Unlike LS1/LS6 engines, the LS7 uses a siamesed bore cylinder block design which is required for its big 4.125" bores.

    That is just the crate motor from Chevrolet. Naturally aspirated. Very easy to make over 800hp with a few mods. Not sure where you get your info.

    You misread what I posted. The Ferrari has a 680hp V12. The LS7 makes 505hp.

    680 - 505 = 175.

    Correct. I just now saw that. But remember, the Ferrari is TWIN turbo to make 680. Do that to the LS7 and bye bye.
