I'm curious, what's wrong with staying at SIN? You sound happy there.

Austin is not ideal for team trucking home base. Couldn't pay me enough to live within 30 miles of Austin.

True that very very happy with everything at SNI even my paycheck but not the cpm.i know this sound crazy but when I go read the LTL section on this forum I get crazy and amazed of the cpm like am getting. .45 and there is some companies pay. .70 and .65 for teams hauling doubles I don't see any reason not to get hire but those companies so why not pursue a better paycheck. That's the only reason am thinking to switch.

Like @STexan says, think twice before moving to Austin or the suburbs. Traffic is terrible and housing is expensive.

Trimac Transportation hires Austin drivers. Trimac does have team operations along with solo jobs.
Check with Estes Express, R&L Carriers, Old Dominion Freight Lines for line haul team operations.
Different opinions here on Austin I notice. When I was looking for a place to relocate, it came down to Austin,TX or Las Vegas,NV and that was with literally hours and hours of research on the internet, plus I'd been to both places while doing OTR trucking.
Both places have lots of positives; there's no perfect place in the USA. I used Zillow.com and city-data.com and first looked for top rated schools followed by places to live that are zoned for those schools.

I'm looking at relocating right now and my options are here (Louisville, KY), Austin, and Las Vegas. It looks to me you went with Vegas. Can you elaborate on how you made your choice and give me a time frame so that I can understand the context?
