I'm curious, what's wrong with staying at SIN? You sound happy there.

Austin is not ideal for team trucking home base. Couldn't pay me enough to live within 30 miles of Austin.

Trimac Transportation hires Austin drivers. Trimac does have team operations along with solo jobs.
Check with Estes Express, R&L Carriers, Old Dominion Freight Lines for line haul team operations.
Different opinions here on Austin I notice. When I was looking for a place to relocate, it came down to Austin,TX or Las Vegas,NV and that was with literally hours and hours of research on the internet, plus I'd been to both places while doing OTR trucking.
Both places have lots of positives; there's no perfect place in the USA. I used Zillow.com and city-data.com and first looked for top rated schools followed by places to live that are zoned for those schools.VIDEODROME, IluvCATS, yzar78 and 1 other person Thank this. -
