One year experience looking for OTR but no east coast.

Probably not that much difference as far as I know.
Marten Transport doesn't have driver facing cameras; not sure if Pride does or not.
Marten Transport pay structure is well defined on the website and to me it's an excellent pay structure. Marten also has a guaranteed minimum weekly paycheck.
I really don't think you would go wrong with either company.
Has @Snowshoes replied yet. He works at Pride and can give details on pay and freight lanes.

 

I've only talked to one driver. Was at a frozen food warehouse in Tennessee, picking up a load. He said he'd been with Marten 10 years and was content.
I've talked to lots of drivers from different companies and when they complain, I ask, "Then why are you still working there?" They always have some lame excuse.

 

Made me think about my Navy days. Sailors constantly complaining and griping and how they hate the Navy. Then when they're within a couple or three months of discharge date, they re-enlist.

 

It was always "I'm getting out" I would ask what is your plan? "I'm going to school" Going to school for what? Uhhhhh...

Re-enlistment paperwork would usually come across my desk not long after.
