Im sorta on the same ship as you. I had a DUI in 2003 and just got my licence reinstated in April of this year. Im going to school next month to get my CDL. Ofcourse it makes it tougher to get a job since my license hasnt been reinstated for long but you and I will still be able to get out CDLs. Just have to look longer and harder. Im not givin up. And neither should you. Let the negative comments bounce off u man.

I will tell you that holding a liscense 1 year means little. My ex boyfriend had a license for 10 years and drove 5 times in that 10 years. So his record was squeaky clean. He went to school with me, and started training when i did. He crashed the truck 3 times before he was fired. >.>

Yep and they didnt even FIRE him really, after the third accident he went home on break and he stayed on leave so long he was auto quit and when he reapplied they denied him because of the accidents. If he had NEVER gone on break he might still work as a truck crasher... er driver.

you might be able to drive through a temporary agency.
as a yard driver youre not going on public roads, insurance wouldnt be a factor.
budweiser, coors, nabisco theres lots of hostling jobs that you could get to get you back behind the wheel and eventually on the road again.
