What's going to happen if your driving in the snow or slick roads? Are you going to react in time before you start to jackknife?
OnGuard anyone know how to disable the thing?

If you are crazy enough to be driving on snow or ice with the cruise control on, please wave from the ditch as I drive by.luvtotruck, Tonythetruckerdude and LaBubba Thank this.
-
Well obviously I don't but there are those few idiots that will.
-
pull the fuse all is well that simple
-
Im sure there is more than just the onguard on the same fuse.
-
Do not use your cruise control.
Tonythetruckerdude Thanks this. -
When my cruise is on, On-Guard will keep me 242 feet behind the vehicle in front of me.
-
Or post, pillar, bridge beam, concrete wall caught at angle by it as you go by and the stripe on road it doesn't like either.. -
it's not a car system put on trucks...... it's a truck system that
has been adapted to cars....
the vorad system has been a option trucks for years.... my 2000 had it -
Well the Bendix system it's a fuse. Kills it all together like it never existed. The other systems idk, our other trucks like the cascadias have them and have heard about them. Mine faulted 3 different times after being fixed only not to let me run cruise. To me it's just a pain the beeps and brake checks out of know where. I didn't mind it when it functioned properly my driving style wasn't that far off of what it wants you to do like back off or braking in irratic traffic. It's just soo much better without it.
DrtyDiesel Thanks this.
