Listen, I'm not saying it's never happened in the history of trucking. Lots of weird things happen every day but truckers have a lot of free time and stories get embellished to say the least.

    JenV Thanks this.

Drug test almost always work like this in my experience. You pull into the yard or you are scheduled to come in and your dispatcher calls you and says "I need to see you" and she won't say why. That is a dead giveaway that you are about to pee.

I will share a message a friend of mine sent me last week when I had asked him about Covenant. He is a driver for Old Dominion.

"I'm sorry Sheila, I meant to reply to you this weekend. I don't know much about Covenant. If they were really bad I'm sure I would have. lol. Just a thought, the company I work for pays you to train. We have a terminal in Decatur IL which I think is not far from where you live. The good thing about Old Dominion is we only run terminal to terminal. No backing in docks and waiting to get loaded or unloaded. The pay is good as well. Team drivers top out at 70 cents per mile. That's an easy 100k a year per driver. Just something to think about. If I can help anymore just give me a shout. Wish I could tell you more about Covenant."

Like I said earlier in this thread which bears repeating, I'm telling you, I really appreciate this forum, and I CANNOT wait to hit the high road!!! I told my sister who holds a Class A what I've been up to, and she mentioned team driving. She read my mind! I'm so EXCITED about all the possibilities and the potential in this industry! Thank you all here!
