I'm pretty sure that as long as you get at least a 10 hr break after your traveling, you don't have to log it.
But @Tall Mike is right. I will never volunteer any info. Only answer the questions that the cop asks. Anything more and you may open a can of worms better left alone.Crude Truckin' and Tall Mike Thank this. -
The rule is that after the travel, you need 10 hours off, unless it is just a short flight and you do not go over the 14 hour rule.

That officer knows that handbook back to front right? He quoting that reg the way some Christians quote scripture lol. Some people just talk too much. I guarantee most officers probably forgot that reg. Now that driver has unnecessary points. I bet when he was on paper logs, he failed Creative Logging 101.
