I did not say that everything written counts, It only counts once. As it states in the SMS Methodology-
"In cases of multiple counts of the same violation, the CSMS only uses the cited violation once. " and it is the same for the DSMS. I can take the time to type every single light thats out on your truck, but its still going to only count once. Im not sure how long ago you are refering to, Im refering to the points in CSA. Google SMS Methodology find the Jan 2012. I could be bitter and take the one worse truck driver/human being I have ever met and compare every driver to him and make all of them build their own way up to get any amount of respect from me, but I wont. That would be a very long, quiet, inspection and I would go home in a really bad mood. Probally kinda like you are when or if you ever have to go near Ohio. I would have missed out on some really good conversations too. When a driver who expects the worst, meets the inspector who expects the worst thats when log books fly. Its much less stressful to give them the benefit of the doubt, and allow them to build on that or dig a hole. Which ever they choose, not the driver I met before them as you seem to do with Ohio.
