Operation roadcheckblitz, comming to a coop near you

Nevada # 15 NB south of Vegas was working over time, all 5 lanes, backed up to the highway.

 

Ca, or, wa nothing out of the ordinary, in fact dunsmir coops on I5 was closed on thursday, this is the worst ####### in CA. Oh well, didnt bother me none, i got a pretty 10 sticker in the window.

I pulled into dunsmir too, was and was like Joe Dirt, "you like them spinning tires do ya?"

 

I made it thru the gauntlet did not see much action compared to the last few years.

 

I made it through the Gauntlet also, but then on Friday while crossing the Mackinac Bridge, they had the right lanes closed heading south and the far left lane open. the In-road scale is on the Far right lane. I followed the trucks on to the left lane and the St. Patrol pulled me over and wrote me a level 3 warning! I don't think that one was fair.

 

I was driving past a scale in tennessee today and the bears were having a party there. what the hell? Big tents and lots of tables and chairs sent up and about 50 cop cars..wtf?!

 

just the after blitz party.......dont feel bad....a few states do it every year

thats why i take 2 weeks off

If you were on I-24 between Nashville and The Choo-Choo, what you saw had nothing to do with DOT or the 72 hr blitz. There was a big music festival there called Bonaroo. The cops used the scale as a base of operations.
