That decal is supposed to be good for 30 days and "honored" at every coop afterwords....But....not always...
You can get a level 1 in AZ and run up to CO and CO will tell you they are more thorough than AZ, and CO will inspect you.....Been there, done that....

Again....and I don't know how many times I have stated this....
I was told by a DOT from Cali that even a new off-the-lot rig can be placed OOS....
There is always something that they can find on a rig...even a brand new one....
Perhaps if your demeanor is such that you are asking to be place OOS.....who knows....

I just had an experience in an OR coop on the OR 30 E/O Columbia City that has my head shaking.....

Medical card may be invalid (In OR) because the rev date was 2002.....CA dmv says that's their most current rev....but OR DOT says it should say 2010....I had a DOT physical back in NOV '09 so...how would that be possible anyways?....

The she commented on my glasses...I wear blended lenses...She didn't think those were legal to wear either...

I wonder...how many port trucks will get pulled?

Even after all this big deal to rid the ports of pre '04's in Cali...I still see '80's Freightshakers tugging containers...Makes me wonder if the NAFTA rigs get a pass...as usual...

Minnesota got me on a level 3.

I wear glasses, but I have no restriction on the license. My picture shows me wearing them. My medical card has no restriction as well.

Entered the scale wearing glasses. He was going to write me false document charges since I was wearing them and not restricted.

Advised him, I was legal either way and if he felt he had to write the ticket, to go ahead. I would be glad to see him in court.

He told me to get the **** out of his scale. His words, not mine.

You know it's only that 5% of azzhats that make the trouble...Probably the same number of drivers that are azzhats too...

Aren't they just pulling them from the port with newer trucks then handing them of to the old junk?

Exactly...But pre ECM rigs are illegal in Cali...hence the "NAFTA Exemptions"...
