the truck was returned in better shape than when I got it . and yes , I agree 7 accidents in 3 years is out of line, and a lie he told the carrier I signed on with, it is not normal damage , but it happened, and that is what I have to deal with not the exaggerated lies he's telling about it to make sure I do not work I turned in the truck after 3 years on a 4 year contract

Crash after crash after crash!
If you did that to my trailer you'd be gone instantly and followed with a lawsuit for your unprofessional stupidity that destroyed the equipment if you didn't repair it.
I'd say with all your crashes you were lucky the guy you quit on didn't fire you!
He must've been desperate or an idiot employer.
You would be better finding another NON-TRUCKING job since you can't stop crashing into everything. None of us want to be your next victim and clearly you're a risk to others on the road.
Sorry i just don't have sympathy for that nonsense Whatsoever.Midwest Trucker Thanks this. -
i dont know other side of story but the only real option u have is to buy truck/trailer/authority combo.

Blackball laws?
Really?
I have a hard time deciphering the OP's post, but here is what I am concern about;
If there is any, I mean even a hint of truth on the accidents, then there is a problem.
If the previous owner/carrier is calling the new owner/carrier, then there is a huge problem. Where is he getting the phone numbers of the new owner/carrier?
So from a fleet owner's point of view, this all sounds mucked up and I would have a hard time hiring you, not because of what could be but the confusion I read >>>> you leased a truck but then you returned the truck but then the owner got upset with you returning the truck and now is presenting a false narrative to anyone who calls for references?
What would I do?
I would tell any and all potential companies that you are involved with a dispute with this owner/carrier and you do not want them to be contacted. I get this all the time by the way and sometimes the driver lies and they are gone while other times it is the BS they go through that is obvious to me or my manager and they are hired.KB3MMX, brysol01 and Midwest Trucker Thank this. -

thanks for a fleet owners perspective! Yes I did return the truck, but not to them , back to Freightliner
who I leased it from, not the company I leased it to, the truck contract was separate , and yes I do tell the
potential companies about it , some loose interest which is their choice to do so, just looking for the one to
see through the mess, thanks -
Sounds like you went to the Super Dave Osborne trucking school.

So let me see if I get this right . 7 accidents 3 in 3 years .
You bailed on your last company owing them money .
Do you really think you can leave owing money having damaged equipment multiple times and just go to another company like it never happened .
I think you have it all wrong your last company is not screwing you over .
You are screwed over by one guy and he is the one you see in the mirror everyday .
This is why there no little accidents or incidents in trucking .
This is all on you I hope you can learn from it and come out better for it .
Good luck !KB3MMX, Midwest Trucker and windsmith Thank this.
