No o/o with any business sense gets rid of his truck with new transmission and engine. Now that major components have been replaced, you run that truck for a long time to get your money's worth.
I suspect there are hidden issues with it

My opinion…when it comes to emission trucks get the newest with the lowest miles and hours that your budget allows. Unless the KW is deleted I’d stay away even with the overhaul and trans because you’re going to be chasing emission sensors from here on out.

    That's ok, you can.
OMG, it shows abuse or serious problems that are on going.
WOW! you own how many trucks?
If you have more than 4, how can you stay in business?
Yep they do, as a general rule but not set in stone.

But then KW pride isn't what matters, they are still trucks, their quality has slipped compared to the good old days where quality was top notch.

No matter they are tools of the trade, and that's.
I've see a lot of junk and they are all equal.
Yes and no. If the OP did some research, his question would have been answered, don't trust low mileage trucks unless there are solid records, and do your DUE DILIGENCE on anything you consider buying. I won't rehash that but it is stupid to look at the brand of the truck and ignore everything else based on some perceived idea one is better than the other.
    I don't know, is it.

So here is the problem. I have a lot ISX engines (or its variations) in trucks; it is my preferred engine for the heavy stuff.

It has a B10 rating is over a million miles if I remember right.

It has a B50 rating is over 1.3M miles if I remember right.

An engine with only 450,000 on it being overhauled has to have a serious defect or was abused, but either way, an inframe means that it is high risk and could be a problem going forward.

How many hours are on the the KW? If it did dry bulk or tank or whatever it could have the equivalent of 800k on a true road tractor which would explain the inframe, either way I wouldn’t touch it though, or the international, only way I would do an emissions truck is brand new

That’s actually not as bad as I would of thought honestly, I had almost that in parts doing fuel lines and a drivers door hinge last year…

Warranty paid for all but, 7k got a brand new SCR and that along with the dpf filters were the spendy ones. But as a rule buying a used truck its better to just do all that crap.
