opinions on what is the best flatbed trailer out there?

It depends on what you plan on hauling. A combo would be a good choice for some. It has the durability of steel and the benefit of being a little lighter than a 100% steel and wood. The aluminum trailers work well for mostly doing heavy loads, but some of them can have issues with breaking around the suspension.
