Ordering a Brand new Truck what is the down payment?

This driver is whining about the color of the truck the they don’t pay for? What is happening to this world?

 

It's not a big deal to order a color the driver likes, they're driving it, not me.

 

Beautiful truck. Glad yours worked out for you since you had yours stollen. I too had got a dealers preorder and still waiting almost a year now. I am gonna guess Pete's are not as wanted as a Volvo on the market today.

Ha Ha no I know what they are going for these days. Mine will be here within 2 months for sure so I am ok to wait at this point. Not gonna be happy but it is built to my specs as I was able to change whatever I wanted on the build.

 

Color is always first on my list. I’ve seen too many guys driving hot pink tractors

 

Have one lady who chose the same pink for three of her new trucks. Was a big decision to change to a dark brown on the last one. Took months to decide it.

 

That’s pretty cool that you do that. Do you think it helps in retaining drivers?

 

Yes and no. Some appreciate it, some don't. Some will stay forever, some are always moving. Some leave and talk with you more often than when they worked there, others will bad mouth you forever.

But it does keep the whining down some. LOL Just kidding.

Seriously, it doesn't cost anything extra to do it and quite a few like their "own" truck.
