Orientation 6/24/13

Do any of you run through Oregon on I-5 very often? I live near Eugene and was wondering if I would ever get some home time. Providing I even get hired. Other than the camera thing, it seems like Melton is above average. Thanks for any info.

 

Been up that way a couple times. If melton hires you, they will get you home, it's just a matter of time. We have loads going everywhere but most seems to be in the middle of the country.

 

I received a call from Tulsa today. Great conversation with recruiter, went over my experience and my CDL school experience. Looks like I'll be heading to Melton when I graduate in May. I'm sure keeping my fingers crossed for it. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading through this thread and the Melton forum.

 

Melton out of el Paso terminal is it nice? Very much interested in melton

 

No terminal in El Paso. Just drop yard with a trailer.

 

I just left El Paso. Decent enough place. Hard to find the first time. You can order pizza or chinese or bobtail down to the Petro or a couple other places. I got a load of ladders going St. Joesph for Friday. Pretty small place, though, yeah. I wouldn't call it a terminal.

 

Noggin, you work with Melton? If u do work with them or have do u like them? I spoke with a recriter the other day and said can't do anything with me till I finish school which I understand but from what the recruiter told me Melton sounds like a number one choice for me. I got Melton as primary TMC as secondary haven't spoken to them though, and maverick haven't spoken with them either but I heard maverick runs automatics.
