Any company that will take newbes would be good so that you can get that years experience that alot of the companys are lookin for I personally went with Roehl transport when I started and would recommend them as a decent company. As far as the refresher course after coming out of school you would have to ask them.

I am trying to find out which one of these companies is the lesser of two evils.I have been aproved for C.R.England,then there is CRST.But I can go to C1 in Indi and had a pre hire from USA or Pam.So can anyone please give me the pros and cons of these companies.I am aware that some is teaming outfits. After being in the Army Rangers I think can bett much deal with any type of person.I am just looking to get my feet in the door and get some safe miles under my belt. But I want to give myself an honest chance.so all you drivers with knowelge that I don't have please help me.All infor will be taken in and maybe a wikll be able to make a wise choice

Fresh out of CDL school, CRE requires that you pay $1195 for their refresher.

Ok if your just out of school and have your class A's why would they need you to take a refresher? Looks as if they just want your $$$$ to me. I would not do that. Most co's out there will take on drivers that are just out of school and the only thing they may have you do is go out with a trianer for 2 to 6 weeks.

I belive CRE is up to $1395 plus a $100 nonrefumdable application fee for thjose with a cdl but are just out of school

Looks like a RIP, Smells like a RIP, it could be a load of **** to me..lol

I agree with your assessment. I told the recruiter I wouldn't pay to work for them and went with another company.

Again most schools only teach what is needed to pass only. There is more to driving a truck than just being noisy on the cb and shifting gears.
Yes there are companies that will toss you into a truck. But are you truly prepared for what there is to do there?ed28560 Thanks this. -
