Its here... its known. Can we agree that anyone looking to go to Prime and does a little research around here has a heads up on this issue?
Its not a big deal. The question is, and I really dont know the answer... Will they give me my money back upon return of the items at the end of my employment...
I mean, technically I can take both items on to the next job... which I probably will do with the padlock Lock set... however hauling around two load locks would be quite cumbersome.
Worse case scenario: I have to roll down my rear window on my Del Sol and have these 2 long things sticking out of the back of my car.
On a happier note, Im glad I can order replacement keys for the lock set... My first winter was particularly bad... one fell out into the snow and I didnt realize it... second key I accidently drop kicked getting out of the truck... Seeing how the keys are gold colored and I kicked it into dead grass, I had no luck finding it. Hope it didnt chew up the lawn mower that spring.![]()

Like I said NoTarps, your experience is unique. To come on here and try to persuade people by acting like what you experienced is "common practice" (didn't I read that somewhere already) is a bit ridiculous and very deceiving. Your posts are very obviously fueled by angry emotions due to your unique experience.
My first truck was so-so. It was a bit older, and started giving me problems after about 6 months. Eventually, the turbo quit. Got a call from my fleet manager, "I think it would be better if we got you another truck instead of continued repairs." My response, "sounds good." I was given another truck without even asking. Not to make this a lease vs. company debate, but that is just another advantage to being a company driver. I assume very little risk, and Prime settled their end of the bargain as far as I'm concerned.
It's understandable that you're still bitter, even after 3 years, but the vast majority of new drivers won't experience what you did. No company is immune to disgruntled employees and past employees. Even Maverick has had a few POed drivers. No, really. -
They'll give you a credit on the load locks - 50% of new... just haul the things back to drivers' lineup. The locks are yours. I ordered a couple of the small ones to secure other stuff on my truck, with the same key pattern. $16 I believe - much better product than any of that cheap Barjan junk they sell in the truckstops, and these ones don't corrode like Master locks do.

Been wondering about notarps for awhile. Then, I noticed his location. That confirms it: He's a space cadet.

See, you're wrong about all of that notarps. YOU have a HUGE problem. Its eating your insides out, so all you can do is exaggerate and call good drivers names. I just point out there are two sides to any story. Yup, Prime makes mistakes, and you happened to be on the loosing end of that one. Get over it, and get on with your life.
