I actually saw an EPES truck on the road while driving in school and checked their website. It was either "we don't hire south of orlando" or "1 year experience required".

So far so good. Riding in the bus, plenty of space, clean vehicle, new leather seats, power outlets (I didn't bring a computer, using the phone). Ac blows nice in the 90 degree South Florida weather and I am watching Burn Notice on netflix

Just like any Mega carrier, you get a junk truck to start. Then you get a nice one. If your real good, you get asked to join management. Save $ and buy your own truck. Lease or leave. I have two First Class drivers, & me. Three Freightliner's. They throw them away at XXX miles. Made the bucks, get a new one.

The coffee has worn off. I'm waiting for Bozo to fill my wagon. Sleeper time.

That's the general idea for me - to buy a truck in a year or two. I am aware of the lease scams a lot of carriers are trying to pull and I am staying away from those.
