Im one lucky driver I tell ya...after the collapse of Sward trucking {Company closed its doors} and doing some off road corn hauling I was really wondering if there was any company out there other than mega carriers for me. I was looking hard for a small enough company to care big enough to company to carry and I found one! FRONTIER/OSTERKAMP trucking from Chino Ca hired me they bought most of the Sward trailers and I got hired with in 4 days tops got me a 2010 International and best of all no E LOGS/QUALCOMM or EOBR'S just a simple GPS that pinpoints the location of the truck and a Nextel Blackberry that's how we get dispatched. All the staff there is friendly and always willing to help the drivers giving us choice of loads and always asking us if the run is not to heavy on us. Im home every weekend and is 99% drop and hook, Im signed on the 53v, flatbed and doubles 11west and the loads are plenty to choose from the only thing is that Mary our Chowchilla CA dispatch just left the company and we need her back! Mary come back! Best dispatch ever, I gave her my UTAH coffee cup on her last day and she said she was taking me with her and the supervisor gave her the eye o O lol. But thanks to all the drivers who PM'd me with job offers thank you and Wiseone and Mastertech for letting me come back thanks guys. They are hiring O/O 11 west and drivers pm me if you guys are interested they are expanding. Keep truckin Drivers.

Please keep us posted. Osterkamp used to haul lots of Masonite loads out of up north here (along with Sward) When Masonite closed they went over to LP for Home Depot loads. They just pulled out of the Home Depot stuff and their dispatcher came to work as a driver for the the co. I work for. I see a lot of Frontier trucks around Miller in Irwindale, it seems like they are all Mexican O/O's

I used to know Bob Williams and Jim Gray who founded Frontier and they were great guys!
If it's half as good as the old Frontier was, It's a good move for you.
I haven't seen any of them in 20 years or so....RAGE 18 Thanks this. -
Rage are you still with Frontier? PM sent.
