OP, I just noticed you are in Canada. I would imagine you guys probably turn more miles in a month because you have more liberal hos than we do. Not to mention it's a bigger country with greater distances between major cities.[/QUOTE]

Yeah seems It would be smooth sailing here in canada, specially when considering the praries, but im not a trucker yet, I know a few truckers and many of them cross the border and travel to the states, we're too dependant on our southern brothers lol

I am currently in training and should be done by 2nd week of February. Could you shed some light on whether or not your company has strict hiring policies... As far as criminal backgrounds go? Im intersted in running tankers and I've done alot of research about numerous companies. Schneider and Superior Carriers seem like where i wanna go. Thanks in advance driver!

I'm not sure what our exact hiring policy is on criminal backgrounds, that is a question a member of management would have to answer. If you are ineligible for hazmat, that's an automatic no. As a student you'd have to check with the terminal closest to you to find out whether they are currently hiring and willing to accept an entry level driver, and what school in the area they will hire from.

    AKOO Thanks this.
