OTR Solos and Teams – Coast to Coast & Dedicated Lanes - Reefer - Benefits

We are a small (50 truck), family-owned trucking company based in Rutherfordton, NC with a terminal in Reno, NV. We are looking for over-the-road solo and team drivers. We have several specific opportunities:

1) Coast to Coast - OTR
These include consistent lanes from NC/SC/VA/KY to the west and northwest to be run once per week per team (5,500-6,000 miles) and once every two weeks for solo drivers. Backhauls will be from CA/WA/ID/OR/NV. This would be great work, in desirable lanes and with predictable home time (weekly for teams and biweekly for solos). We are willing to discuss other hometime arrangements as well (i.e. run three weeks and take one week off). Outbound is dry or temp-controlled hazmat freight or pharmaceuticals and return is fresh or frozen produce or hazmat. Hiring areas: North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, East Tennessee, Central Kentucky, North Georgia, near Reno, NV and near Seattle

2) Midwest Dedicated OTR
Also have weekly dedicated lanes shipping from Memphis with pharmaceuticals and consistent lanes from Indianapolis with pharmaceuticals. Excellent service, on-time performance and communication are a MUST! Weekly hometime. Hiring areas: North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, East Tennessee, near Memphis and near Indianapolis

3) Reno, NV Dedicated OTR
Dedicated work from Reno, NV to Seattle, WA and other various dedicated lanes originating in Reno, NV. Weekly hometime. Hiring areas: near Reno and near Seattle

4) NC to PA Dedicated OTR
Dedicated lane from Greensboro, NC to central PA and back. Weekly hometime. Hiring areas: near Greensboro, NC

Class A CDL, 2 years OTR experience with 53' trailers, reefer experience, hazmat and tanker endorsements are required. TWIC credentials are a plus.

We operate quality Volvo or KW equipment, treat our drivers fairly and pay them well. We don't allow tobacco use in our trucks, our facilities or at customer facilities. We use electronic logs and trucks are governed at 68-70 mph.

Team drivers earn 28% of the linehaul or 50cpm between them and solo drivers earns 25% of the linehaul or 45cpm. You choose the pay plan. We offer increased earning rates based on seniority and productivity.

We offer direct deposit on a bi-weekly basis and have a guaranteed minimum pay based on availability for dispatch.

At these rates, our solo drivers on these runs would typically earn $60,000+/- per year and team drivers commensurately more. We offer an excellent health insurance plan with dental, vision, disability and life insurance options.
