I don't know how anyone can sit in a box with another person for that long. I rather be alone so I can sing along with my songs, fart, get naked, don't have to respond to any small talk, etc.

The information that you got was correct. You and your partner get paid for all the miles that are driven in that truck no matter if it was you or your partner. My boyfriend works for PAM and says its a great starter company. The truck barley stops at all because his partner drives at night and he drives during the day. He is gone a lot and its hard not being able to see him but maybe 4-5 days a month. I have been looking up information on trucking and I'm looking up info about getting on with PAM. My boyfriend wants me to be his partner and be able to take "home time" where ever we want to. It is great money, great benefits, and the trucks that PAM has are really comfortable.

I am starting my CDL schooling this month the 27th and would like to drive team for my first year with the same company to get much experience before I switch off to solo . This is because being in school for only 4 weeks to get cdl , you luck much experience to drive solo . Your school will not teach you much as your trainer will ..

It's not true. say the pay is .40cpm solo or team. you guys are doing 12 on 12 off rotate to keep the wheels spinning. thenot you and your team mate will only make .20cpm. but hey I've been wrong. talk to the recruiter and get that answer in writing with their John Hancock.
