Wats up everybody, just thought I'd give a recap of last week. Well monday mornin got a load out of Eden that delievered in Randolph for Tues am. Got to Randolph bout a hour early. Once unloaded sent my empty call and got told no loads availible. Around 4pm got a load picking up in Versailles, CT going to SC, but told me to drop in Eden. I waited till 1am then left Randolph so I could beat traffic and have a smooth ride down to Versailles. Arrived at Versailles and drop and hooked (which I always love) then got the h*** outta dodge. Dropped that load in Eden Thursday mornin around 5am, and then got a load going to Mechanicville, NY for friday delievery at 11 30. Delievered in Mechanicville bout a hour early, and already had a pre plan to pick up in Vermont at OMYA, and drop in Cartersville, GA. Had to call dispatch before I went to Vermont, and they told me to be careful on what roads you went on, as Vermont is very picky on trucks and how they enter/exit the state. Got loaded there and stopped in Wilton, NY for the night at a nice truckstop I stumbled across. Saturday snow trucked thru NY, and NJ and finally hit dry roads on 78 west off of 287. Currently sitting in Cartersville waiting on a load, hope everyones have a good and safe week!

Whats up everybody, finally got a load out of Cartersville Monday night that was a load picking up at Owen's in ATL going to Eden, NC. Got there and to my surprise and amazement it was actually loaded on time
. Yanked that outa there and ran it up to Eden. After delievering load to Miller hit Ready for Dispatch and got a load out of the terminal going to Wislon McGinley in Pittsburgh, PA. Had never been there but all the horror stories I have heard from fellow drivers immediately starting going thru my head. Left the terminal around 4am and ran it straight thru to Pittsburgh. Let me tell you, that place is tight, tight, and even more tight. By far the most nerve racking, on the edge experience in my short trucking career. Got unloaded and was relieved to know I was bout to get out of there, pulled up my next load and on my load info I seen the dreaded city of Pittsburgh, PA again. Had a load picking up at Atlas on the other side of the city going to Big Island, VA. Getting to Atlas was 98% easier than my first stop in the city was. Got loaded there and parked overnight in there lot. The lady at the shipping office gave me a map on a easy way to get back to the Interstate. If anyone every stays there overnight theres a good eating spot at the top of the street called Double Wide Grill I would recommend. Finally left around 3am and got out of Pittsburgh or as I call it now (Pitts of Hell). Had a awesome time driving the little narrow mountain road that takes you to the Georgia Pacific plant in Big Island, was really scenic thru there also. Got backed into dock and tried to get my next load info and my dispatcher said, no more loads for you till you go home and have a nice weekend, and enjoy your scheduled hometime. So now im at the house taking a weekend off from the big road. Ill be back out Tuesday. Hope everyone is having a good week mileage wise and everyone gets nice long preplans for the wknd

hahaha, i live here in Pittsburgh, (south hill's section), 1 mile from Carson st. in a boro called Mt. Oliver, i had to google Wislon McGinley to see where that was, its in lawrenceville on the north side of downtown, and YES it's a little tight over there even for a car ha ha ha, millis sometimes picks up scrap here on southside 24th street off carson st. when i used to drive for them back in the 90's, then you had to go to Atlas the moving company in west Mifflin i think, holly crap, you did have a bad day, wait (double wide grill) is on the southside on carson st. there's only one showing on there web site, used to be a Texaco gas station

Wats up everybody, my last laptop took a spill in the truck and lets just say it didnt survive, lol. Had a pretty good week last week mileage wise. Hit ready for dispatch Tuesday and was told no loads availible. Eventually got a broker load out of Miller in Eden going to Sheboygan, WI. Got that delivered and was sent over to Oskkosh, WI to Bemis Specialty Films to pick up a load going to Schawn's in Florence, KY. Set at Schwans for about 5-6 hours and finally got unloaded. From there got sent up to Trenton and picked up a load going to Eden. Arrived in Eden and was sent a load that picked up at 1300 at the Unilever in Raeford, NC that was going to Unilever in Carlisle, PA for Monday delivery. Got to unilever and I think every truck on 81 was there as we was backed out in the street trying to get in. Finally got in and drop and hooked and was sent a load picking up at Associated Wholesalers in Robesonia, PA going to the much beloved RockTenn in Syracuse, NY. Got it to RockTenn the same day and got it off the truck by midnight. Hope everyone is rolling hard but safee
