Especially with only 2 months under your belts -- now is a CRAPPY TIME to be looking for other CDL work. :(

You may well be better off staying put. o_O

DOT Transportation would be my top pick out of the ones Chinatown and I have mentioned. Good benefits, and best of all nicely maintained equipment.

Not really an option costing us money to be on the truck. I'd be better off going and sitting at home and her going to work for some place like Costco.

Not sure what to say about that....

I paid off a hefty credit card tab my 1st year at Schneider....& still had $$$ to pay other bills....with still some left after that.

Tough to believe AMX starter pay is worse than good 'ol "Big Orange".

Anyway -- most other "starter" carriers now usually want AT LEAST 3 months previous experience. Some want at least 6 months. Others...even more than that.

You may have an "uphill sell" waiting for you....

    Suggestion --

If you were somehow losing money while you were in the truck....what you might consider doing, going forward....is look for a carrier that will offer you a job/account...with a MINIMUM MONTHLY GUARANTEE of $xxxx dollars per month (or per week).

The problem with that -- I don't know of any carrier that will take drivers with 2 months seat time, & (also) offer any true monthly guarantee. :dontknow:

With all that said -- of ALL the suggestions made above/previously -- I do know that (as I write this, anyway) Werner appears to be hiring the most aggressively in your area.

    ESPECIALLY FOR TEAMS.

Take the money out for a moment, how did team driving work for you two?
