Hey all. I've been with maverick since Feb of 2018. Running Glass. Otr then FND (still otr just dedicated out of Texas. )
I'm currently in Glass IC for about a year now. Lease purchase crew. It's actually a good program for me. It has its up and downs, a few more things to stress about, but it has a few advantages also.
So I'll try to keep it alive in here! Maybe get plenty good back to posting when I see him!

What's up everyone. Back in the truck working hard. Took 7 days off. First time since Nov. It was much needed and got my batteries recharged.
Busy week back without being busy. Lol mi to Knoxville, Knoxville to laurinburg, laurinburg to London Ontario, london to carleton mi, MI to Albertville MN and now I'm doing a reset in dewitt IA heading to aurora Co for a Monday delivery.
3 hours left on my 70 when I parked which is surprising. Because I didn't think I've ran that hard.MIT, LtlAnonymous, Gomer1969 and 3 others Thank this. -
Dropped in Aurora Monday, dead headed to wichita falls and picked up a load heading to Medley Fl. Delivery is Friday.
Had to get some truck work done
Windshield, 3 tires, an axle seal, (second time, last repair used the wrong part!) And an A service.Speed_Drums and LtlAnonymous Thank this. -
Nice leisurely trip down to Florida. Shouldn't be too bad. Got extra time on it if you can't arrive early.

Scheduled to test for my CDL in VA next week and I'm down to the wire in deciding where to get started in flatbed trucking. Have offers as a new grad from Melton, TMC, and Maverick. Leaning towards Maverick as they have been most responsive throughout the whole process. I was originally offered Glass OTR but that would have been out 12-14 days and or family has a small food concession business that keeps us busy, primarily on weekends in the Fall. Maverick offered the dedicated account at Nucor Steel in Huger SC and said that would get me home weekends. A driver on that account who has been there 5-years confirmed everything my recruiter told me about this account.
I'm a last minute change, I was just advised that my training would be at the Madison, IL terminal and not North Little Rock.
Appreciate any thoughts or insights you might have about Maverick, the Madison terminal, or anything else that you feel might be important to consider.
Thanks!LtlAnonymous, Speed_Drums, Bizzarrogeorge and 1 other person Thank this. -
They just started training at Madison last week? Or week before. Nice terminal, cheap uber to st Louis.
I've been here 4.5 years. All in glass. So I'm am biased! I don't think you can wrong with any of the companies you mentioned. The dedicated gig sounds like a perfect fit for you!LtlAnonymous Thanks this. -
LtlAnonymous, clarkboys6 and Bizzarrogeorge Thank this.
