:biggrin_2554: I guess I should have stated that sarcasm was intended! Meaning parking would not be a problem but people trying to drive might get just a little pissed if there were 100 trucks taking a 10 in the middle of the highway. :biggrin_255:

ok so what I have an answer. Make the qual-coms shut the trucks down so that they don't run more than 15 miles an hour after your 11 and when you shut down the trucks WILL NOT move until an 10 hr break has been taken. Let the companies deal with that. Truck won't move. Y not? you took to long to load truck is shut down until 10 hrs are up now that would suck for us but even more for them cause we would be in the door and couldn't move. Then they would have to load us faster and get us out of there. But of course I don't want that much big brother!!!

Oh I know. I was just thinking about the hilarity that happens every day at the truck stops (J) watching guys take 20 minutes to get into a spot. 10 minutes in, whoops, out of time, everyone's stuck.

Not to mention getting stuck in the shipper's dock, halfway into a rest area, partway through a turn in Brooklin, etc.

I kind of hope they do set it up that way just to watch the chaos. :smt077

That would be a good way to make sure they got their heads out of their donkey at shippers/receivers if you could tell them when you get there, hey I only have 90 minutes left before my truck becomes disabled and I cannot drive it. So if you don't have me loaded in less than 90 minutes I'll be sleeping right here at the dock. :biggrin_2559: But then you know what would happen. We'd all be almost out of time when we got there even if we just came off of a 10 hr break. :biggrin_255:

I bet we could get our own reality TV show going with that stuff! :biggrin_2559: OOOH I even have a name for it, America's next top Truck Driver, or how about Driving with the Stars! :biggrin_25523: If you can't make your run and get to a real parking spot before your truck shuts off you are eliminated. :biggrin_25524:

And the moment they set that system up I'd be back driving a heavy tow truck. :biggrin_2559:

And if your tow truck had that same computer you would be in the same boat with the rest of them lol.

If my tow truck had that same thing on it, it'd be taken off by the feds within a few days. Because not one of those trucks would move until it was removed.

That or they'd receive severe hammer damage within hours of installation. Or minutes.:biggrin_2559:
