Great link, is pretty long, 27 pages, but it had a lot of good info. Thanks for sending. I had forgot about CT. They were a company I did contact when I first started driving in Jan 2013. Thanks

Why would you need a refresher - forget where to put the key? Trucks still got 18 round wheels, lot lizards are still ugly, and truck stop rest rooms still stink. Nothing has changed in trucking in decades and some company is asking for a refresher? That is a company to avoid. Any company that likes to train 'refreshers' has too many desk jockeys that don't know a thing about trucks. A good sign to avoid them and look for greener pastures.

Hey, like I said in my initial post, I'm not sure what I will hear when I start applying, I will see. I know I would probably fumble some if I had to pass a drive test without any kind of seat time, just shifting, visual orientation on backing. Sure I "remember", but its been 18 months since I sit in a truck, and I hadn't been doing it for the last 10 years, I had drove for 8 months. Really, if I spent a couple of hours getting "re-familiar", I would be good to go.
