That's really not very fair to the company. Doing it that way will cost them a whole lot more $$$, plus the extra time they have to use.

You'll get reimbursed for the tolls, and if you start causing problems you will likely get on someone's bad side very quickly.

 

But its fair that the driver has to pull money out of his pocket to pay for a toll and then wait a week to get reimbursed? Sorry but if I cant charge interest on that loan, because lets face it....it is a loan, then I will tell the toll collector I dont have any cash on me.

 

If you're going to the north east,have at least$200.00 for tolls.Otherwise if you're going elsewhere look at your map and see if toll roads are on your route then take money out for that.

might not charge you, that wouldnt be fair. but they might look at those extra fees you are causing and send a mandate to your fm/dispatcher not to send you ANYWHERE that requires toll money. "i dont care if you have to have him sit for 3 weeks til you find a load that doesnt go via toll roads". thats what id do. unless you were in a right to work state, then id just fire you.
