I have a slightly out of round passenger steer tire . The tread is still 90% , so I would hate to get rid of it . Can I purchase centramatics to stop the shaking while keeping this tire ?

Nope. An out of round tire is junk there's no fixing it. Centramatics are a waste of money too.

    Junk tire.

    Replace it.

It will shake you and your truck until something comes loose.

You can't fix an out of round tire. It's not round and it's never going to run true no matter what you try. It really sucks for such a new tire but I've been there before too. The best thing you can do is get quality tires. They cost more up front but are usually round and they last 2 or 3 times longer so are really much cheaper over the long term than "bargain" tires.

Centramatics are great at what they do. They eliminate the need for balance weights. They can not change the shape of a tire though.

I'd keep that tire as a spare. I'd buy Centramatics anyway.
Centramatics is an outstanding product. I've had them for 4 years now.
My drives are over 300K miles (over 3 years) and are perfectly round and still at 6-8/32, so they will last till Winter easy. I replaced my steers a few weeks ago at 215K miles and they were perfectly round except too thin 6/32 - they will work on my trailer. Centramatics will give you more counterbalance weight vs weights they allow to glue to the rim at Love's and Petros - if you need to add more weights than what they allow there then a tire or a rim is a junk anyway.

Take the tire back to where you purchased it, mount it on a tire balancer and tell them to look at it. Have them replace with new or give a refund.

That is exactly what you should do.
