Out of State dump truck work, do I need more than a DOT#

    The only state that I worked in back then that was an issue was Wyoming. I had to get a “work permit” the guys at the Evanston POE didn’t seem to care about Wyoming’s intrastate authority thing as I had IFTA but I did get a work permit to do a job in Rock Springs and I can’t remember if it was the city or Sweetwater County that I had to comply with.

    Ask the contractor you will be working for what the requirements are......BTW what road will you be working on ? We go to Scottsdale often and it's nic e to know what highway is under construction.

    I asked an owner operator yesterday.

    She said mc is required to go across state line.

    They are working somewhere on I-10 from what I heard.
