He changed his license from Florida to Texas, then attended cdl school in Lancaster, Texas.

You can still attend cdl school in Florida and work for a Texas company.
Plenty of good driving jobs for Florida new cdl school grads.
If you prefer to live in Florida, then do that and plenty of jobs there.

Performance Food Service in Orlando sometimes has a 'dock to driver' program. Start on the docks and prove yourself, then will be trained to be a driver.

Completion of a tractor trailer driving school will be accepted instead of, or in addition to a high school diploma.

 

Probably need to get your cdl permit before attending TDI in Sanford.
Many companies hire from TDI.
