I am a resident of california and was wandering if I can get my training and obtain my cdl out of state with a company? Is it possible to transfer it to my legal home state?

make sure that CA. is not like Illinois, when you go to transfer your cdl to IL. you have to retake you road test with the appropriate truck for your class of cdl

I wouldn't do it in California, from what I understand and have read it is a real pain in the career to transfer a license into California.
