i got a ticket a year or two ago coming home from AL.
the speed limit dropped from 65 to 50 and a montgomery county sheriff was sitting just past the sign on a motorcycle. (hiding under an overpass) he got me for doing 70 or so (can't remember exactly) when i pulled my entire driving record up at the local DMV in FL. it had tickets from AL. from 10 years ago when i lived there, BUT NOTHING about the ticket i got 2 years ago.
should i put this down on my school/ company aplications? (i haven't gotten my CDL yet)

what about a ticket from the military police where the officer told me "this won't cost you any money or points on your license but if you get another ticket here you will be barred from recreational access to the reservation"

Always put every ticket, then if they run your report and it doesn't show: no harm no foul. They are concerned with u fitting their insurance requirements.

Was it non-CDL licence that You had at that time?
Some states dont transfer out-of-state tickets, may be thats the reason its not on the record.
    Good luck!!!

That's good!Car drivers vs. us truck drivers in much better position in this case.I think You should print Your driving abstract and show on the resume only those violations.

Always tell them about every ticket. All states are supposed to transfer citation info to the state where the offender is from. Sometimes this process can take a while (yeah, even a year or two). The trucking companies and insurance companies are mostly going to be concerned with your driving history over the past 3 years, regardless of whether the citation occurred on your PDL or CDL (driving habits are driving habits is the thought there). If you tell the trucking company about the ticket and it doesn't show up on your MVR, then all should be fine. If you don't tell them about it and it DOES show up - now you're starting over filling out an application for a job somewhere else. Honesty is the best policy, and you'll earn a lot of respect and credibility for your integrity from the trucking company's safety manager if you are honest and up front about everything.
