Sound like a lot of truckers struggle with time management if 13 hours only allows enough time to take car of logs, eat and sleep.

when i ran the road, i cannot recall ever taking my 8 hours (that's what it was back in the day) where there was a pond, river, or lake.

not a whole lot of places allow truck parking, where one can be able to do this.

now beckons the question(s) where do you go and get a temp license?

online? if you want to try this for your time off, good luck, but unless you have maybe a 34 hour reset, or your truck is broke down and you have to stay with it (at a motel), it might be slim chances you can accomplish this.

Depending on your energy level, yes, you can do stuff on your 10 hr break. But after driving for 11 hrs and being on duty for 14 you usually dont wanna do nuthin but eat, go online, and sleep. If you do a 34 then have at it. Not illegal to have gun in truck in most states except some of the north east states. But, some shippers, including military bases dont allow guns.

I mean hell I get up at 5am drive to work do a hour and a half of PT. SSS in the office by 830 work all day until 5 pm fish for a hour or so after work. Do a couple hours of homework and still manage 7 hours of sleep every night. Must be hell to wake up piss in a jug crawl 3 feet to a different chair and start driving. Take a 30 min break somewhere in there eat a sandwich the drive a few more hours only to have 13 hours to do nothing.

Depending on the game, process on the spot and toss it in a cooler. And eat it over the course of the week. I’m not saying go elk hunting but fresh trout or pheasant sounds a hell of a lot better than truck stop meatloaf.

lol your another one of those. Let me ask you a question in the 13 hours your trucks not moving what do you do with your time? I’m starting to figure that a lot of drivers are either lazy or have poor time management skills. 13 hours is a lot of #### time but obviously not enough time for half these guys to walk to a bathroom or shower. If I do jump into this it will be for a job not a lifestyle.
