    A bonus: if you start your CDL career in Colorado -- it's likely that you will pick up skill sets there that will make you a more desirable driver to future employment prospects.

    Easy examples: mountain driving (as you've already witnessed); chaining up in winter (aka, "throwing iron"); prepping/maintaining a rig properly for frigid temps, etc.

    Age discrimination is a CDL non-issue going forward -- becuz as time goes by, the available pool of truly good drivers will likely shrink. :dontknow:
