Yeah, that old Ford does have sme character. For a 20yr old truck she is in excellent condition.
As far as gross, with a LEGAL load on her she comes in at around 59,000. That's about 16.5T payload. Now I have had 23.5T on her once as a last measure to get a job done but she doesn't have the brakes for that. No engine brake and a non steer drop axel limits it. She pulled it like a locomotive though. I was a downshifting fool on that trip.

I have had 18yrds of mulch in the box. At least that's what the loader operator said. I was told it is a 15yrd box.
