i have a 2007 w-900 KW that a few days ago my outside temp. gauge reading is like 25 degrees above what the actual temp is! How can i fix this? its driving me nuts not to know how cold or hot it is outside! On my truck it reads the temp. on the dash, on the rpm gauge. thanks in advance!

Sometimes if you're not moving and the wind is blowing toward wherever the temp sensor is, it will move engine heat in that direction. Otherwise, I'd assume there is a sensor problem

Pretty sure it is in the bottom of the drivers mirror.

Maybe that will help, or do what we all do......Google it! That's how I find everything.

I just changed mine, it is a small sensor on top of the mirror.
The plug looks like a phone cord plugs into the back of the gauge.
    That was on a 2006 KW t800.
