Over flow tank

    Had a young kid ask where the overflow tank was on a truck the other day and after telling him there wasn't one he commented well thats dumb. I've never give it much thought until. Do any of the older trucks use a overflow tank? I could see where one could be handy if you had a weak rad cap. But then again if it just goes on the ground maybe some drivers will be more appt. to realize something isn't right with there truck.

    On older trucks the expansion tank was built into the radiator. Newer trucks have an independent tank.
    It's all the same, only different.
