On my '72 Pete, loading the wagon took weight OFF the steers. I don't think I ever had more than 11,500 on the steer.

12,5 is too light an axle for an 860 IMO. I'm surprised they'll even spec that.

Yea I’m starting to figure this out now. I’m bringing the truck back to the dealership I purchased it at to figure out how this can get resolved

You really need to scale it out with a loaded trailer. You may well be ok just as you are.

I’m getting a load around noon today but it’s sadly really light only 6547lbs. I’ll still scale out to see if it drops some weight off the front. I really do hope you’re right man. I’m over hear having panic attacks and loosing sleep over this lol.

What to do? Just step out of the truck. You'll make weight then.

No sense to have a panic attack, or loose sleep. It’s all a matter of making adjustments, and working things out.

I have a 23 860 same engine as you (hp is irrelevant to weight) with an APU and 125gal tanks full and I'm under 12. I can take 34000 on the drives and be right at 12.

I would have gotten the largest tanks possible with 500hp. That thing is going to chew through your fuel supply faster than you'd like.

My concern would be running the tires at max rating all the time. Unfortunately it’s probably a common problem with short wheelbase tractors.

So the frame is stretched 6inches to accommodate for the apu and chain holder. I’ll send a pic
