Hopefully this now sheds light on what I’m going on about

I have a 285” WB and with 300 gallons fuel/Def full gear I’m reading barely 11k. Fifth wheel set 6”? Forward of center. With 34 on the drives I’m at 12k. Axle rating is 13,200 and I haven’t had to move the 5th wheel since I set it 2+ years ago.
Unfortunately you will be a slave to the Cat Scale.Last edited: Mar 31, 2024

It’s just a problem with tractors that have the steer axle set back so far. The Volvo and T-680 I used to drive all were a pia keeping the weight legal.86scotty Thanks this. -
All this is really new to me. I’m coming from a KW and never had this problem arise.

Hard to tell from the angle of the picture but it almost looks like your 5th wheel is still sitting ahead of center a bit. If it is still ahead of center then you might have to unbolt the slider assembly and move it back a few inches if that's possible.
Concorde Thanks this. -
