Short wheelbase, should have spec’d it with a 13,200 front axle. If you’re carrying chains in your boxes get them out when they aren’t needed..I just removed mine today.

I have a 285” WB and with 300 gallons fuel/Def full gear I’m reading barely 11k. Fifth wheel set 6”? Forward of center. With 34 on the drives I’m at 12k. Axle rating is 13,200 and I haven’t had to move the 5th wheel since I set it 2+ years ago.
Unfortunately you will be a slave to the Cat Scale.

Stretching the frame 6 inches also increased the the weight on the steers. It basically sent more of the fuel weight forward taking it away from the drives.
It’s just a problem with tractors that have the steer axle set back so far. The Volvo and T-680 I used to drive all were a pia keeping the weight legal.

All this is really new to me. I’m coming from a KW and never had this problem arise.

Hard to tell from the angle of the picture but it almost looks like your 5th wheel is still sitting ahead of center a bit. If it is still ahead of center then you might have to unbolt the slider assembly and move it back a few inches if that's possible.

    Concorde Thanks this.

Yes, it looks like it to me also. His trailer nose is almost exactly where mine sits in relation to the forward drive axle. Mine is set 6”-8” forward of center. Those Volvo’s never had a lot of of wiggle room for weight and he probably screwed the pooch by stretching the frame.
