whats the overhang? whats the route?

if it is one crate 48'x12'wide and 13' tall. that needs to go in a stretch double drop and still may need a pole car.

    281ric and BAYOU Thank this.

Okay friend. I'm not for sure, but I think you're going to have more problems than just the overhang. Most steps will have a 40 ft lower deck. So you're looking at an 8 ft overhang. You're looking at being over 15 ft tall. You're looking at possibly being over gross. You're looking at being overweight on the trailer axles (I am assuming the weight is evenly distributed, butting the load against the step with overhang).

Big J is right...you need a stretch double drop. A pole car would take a big chunk of money off that load. And I don't believe that you would be able to get the axle weights legal in most places (the majority of that 50000 lbs would be centered over the trailer axles.

16'+ tall and WAY HEAVY on the trailer unless it's a triaxle. Plus, can the piece structurally handle having 8 feet unsupported?
