Overtime pay ! Make it happen .

CSA changes what from what drivers are supposed to be doing in the first place and forever? Having to register the med card takes no time at all.. and will eventually do away with the requirement of carrying the med cards/long form. Screening for sleep apnea is for the drivers health and safety. Doctor shopping should be illegal.. sheesh.. As for the Eastern Europeans and others who come here to work.. they have to get here first.. they were not brought in due to their profession and hired.

 

Mine did. Passed on a Thursday and first run was on Friday, and it was oversized to boot. No trainer, no training just take truck .......

 

Lets face it, we have seen some home grown drivers from right here in the USA who we wouldn't let pull our Radio Flyer to the end of the driveway.

 

You must be a very fast learner but that is definitely not the norm. Maybe thirty years ago when trucking was still the wild west.

 

That's the only solution that will work,leave find greener pastures elsewhere and anyone from that company starting with dispatch to the CEO will tell you the same exact thing.Companies will not change how they do things or the pay just to please a few unhappy drivers.They could care less if you leave or stay.Many drivers are dead weight to the company as they see it.

 

Oh yes, we should all be thanking the government for breaking our balls. The only thing worse than a management bootlicker is a government bootlicker.

 

Yeah.. being required to do your job is so draconian.. The only thing more stupid than someone who will work like a slave for nothing.. is demanding to do more work for free while pretending that it makes them some sort of professional.. poltroon

 

Well 6 years ago I don't think trucking as the wild west, and I did my first solo run oversized about a week after I received cdl. Did one run with the owner from Vernal utah to Casper WY. Then I was all by my lonesome. Two months later was hauling 16' wide tanks up a Billy goat path in 9 mile canyon. Became friends with cottonwood and Harmon canyon dugways real quick. I had just turned 26.
