Overweight,No CDL,Fake Documents For Insurance

Doesn’t shock me with those gravel haulers..that’s in my backyard and they are the worst one out there in the area

 

Pretty much the same thing hauling out of the gravel pits around New Braunfels and San Marcos.

 

San Antonio / Poteet as well.

 

Around Poteet you get the added bonus of the frac sand haulers

 

Don't even get me started on them. I actually respect rock haulers more than sandboxes and sea cans.

 

Texas DPS issued a statement years ago, maybe 8 or 9, estimates that 40% of those driving CMV’s in the Permian Basin do not posses a valid CDL.

 

Been going on for years

In the mid 90s I was Bob tailing and got rear ended hard ,
Guy had a suspended CDL and tractor was stolen and license plates were stolen .
No insirance no logbooks or any permits or paperwork

trailer was rented .

turned out about 30 trucks had been stolen in New Jersey and this was the only one that had ever turned up .

driver walked away and vanished After the crash . No idea why he hung around till the cops arrived and he handed the cops his CDL and disappeared.

if you’re not paying for the truck or insurance , you can pocket some money in a hurry

 

As a former Permian driver, I don't doubt that one bit.
