Can load farther back from the nose of your trailer.

If you are having (issues) with weight distribution on your tractor like this im suspecting something has slipped. Until you know what it is I would not operate that truck. You need that tractor checked out by a mechanic ASAP. Remember your life and the lives of the people you share the road with is MORE important in these kinds of circumstances. Most of the time when a question like yours is asked I have some kind of experience. Not in this case.

Just run it. If you aren’t overweight per the rules of the STATE you are in, they aren’t checking the tire/axle rating
