    HA! Good one.
Although, I have more respect for my body, than to drink Busch beer.

Busch light is drinkable. I bought a 6 pack of some fancy beer. It was 12 bucks. I would have gladly traded it for a Busch

You have to weigh all your options and make an informed decision.

You’re correct, FL can be a stickler if the right officer is watching and paying attention. Been more than a few on this forum who’ve found out the hard way..

From my understanding, TN & MI have also been known to issue citations.

At least VA gives you one free shot to fix the problem.

I ride around with my 58ft trailer(RGN), 3rd axle down, my KP setting is 55ft. VA never says a word to me....VA, I do the 2nd most miles on my IFTA, been doing it for at least 6 years now. Matter fact, I pulled onto the scale in Suffolk last night and none of my trailer axles are even on the scale yet when my truck reaches the front of scale.....They always immediately give me green light! VA gives you 1 opportunity to pull around back and fix your weight.

You should have weighed it at a Cat Scale..no excuse.

What you did is attract attention to yourself when you got put on the scale..Had you crossed the scale at legal weights no one would have given you a second look..

I’m surprised they let you slide the tandems and rescale it .

in Georgia , where I ran a lot of regional and local , yoire not allowed to slide the tandems to correct the weight , you ARE allowed to hop in the trailer and physically
    Move the cargo around .

Virginia has always allowed drivers to correct it. Thats one good thing about VA.
