Actually I think her point with long hair is credible.
Hair itself is not a living item. It grows by layers. WHATEVER you were exposed to, soap, drugs, etc in your world gets stored into a layer. Hair hangs around for a very long time. I have not had a haircut in 3 years but I do have a pair of scissors and trim what I can get to. If it is really bad I'll have the barber snip the whole thing. Get it out of my hair so to speak. =)
Overwhelmed and seeking guidance

My hospital has a hell of a privacy as well. My medical detox is buried in it. I managed to request records for myself in their records office and they printed off like 50 pages of everything. That allows me to understand who did what, when and how much etc. But if I did not say anything, no one is going to know about it. (Not to mention talking over the silly internet for all to see about it. HA... but thats a problem for another day) I believe that detox episode was necessary and life saving at that time years ago. So it worked out. -

I agree if they go back years that would unfairly eliminate people who might have used in the pass and have been clean for awhile.x1Heavy and jakedasnake304 Thank this. -
If they cut at the top then it's going to catch very recent use for sure.
Ive always said it's the little details that bite me in the pants, that would be one of them. I didnt think about which end they would cut at.Jenn72 Thanks this. -
The time to cut it short is now. You’ll cut off any evidence of all but the most recent use. Cut again in two weeks and you’ll be that much cleaner. Cut (but don’t shave) all of your body hair (pits and pubes, of course, but also any other hair like chest hair, arms and legs, etc). The idea is to cut off the sections of hair that were growing when you used.
Needless to say, don’t bother if you’re still using or will be again. -

West Virginia, I took at look at McKessons data back then of loads going there and I have to tell you there are or were some small towns capable of dosing 1000 pills for every man woman and child in town. I believe they have been cutting back on that. But those workers have bodies that are worn out from hard work and they have a need of that medicine.
What I would like to find is medicine that can do that job without the depenancy or addiction for some. I used certain medicines that took care of the body but left nothing for my mind, it has like all humans a reward center to enjoy the medicine a little too much. And thats where the addiction and other issues come in.
If you are curious to know if your state is a millstate. Look for any pain clinics in a small strip center or some out of the way with cameras, big security (Particularly armed) and out of state license plates all around the clinic building. That is the biggest clue it's a mill. And it's very unfortunate. Like a cancer almost.
People don't understand that you can take a certain amount in MME daily and it will be helpful temporarily, say 3 days but it must stop. If it does not and you continue to take it? Well... you are on your way to withdrawals, addiciton and dependancy.
Im not here to lecture. Just trying to share what little I have experienced in those days. The body will always have issues and for me that hipjoint managed to teach me what pain really is. And if you had too much? your mind just shuts off for a time, you pass out.
In the local pill mill years, my caregiver would find me completely out on my feet holding a plate in a half tub of dish water leaning forward to it. If she did not check on me then? and catch it? I might have drowned. And no one would know. Thats where the medical detox came in. I laugh about it now, but it is not funny. If I did not laugh I would cry and I only do that when hurt really bad.
