There is a lawsuit being drafted against Bison, someone collected pay data for the whole company over a number of years, and the average hourly rate while on duty, was $4.50/hr.

Low pay and a ton of Trudeau's made up fairy tale taxes taken off. Most of which get siphoned over to support Quebec.

Yikes. Someone needs to do something about these big companies. Out east here it's not too bad but out west it seems that the megas have a monopoly out west.

    Farmtractor9900 and Flint1 Thank this.

Mega's and the REALLY shady "Brown" companies, esp the Surrey Bunch. Its why i'm just done with it all, just gonna drive my dedicated LCV routes, do some city be the hour, and when my truck is finished; get them to buy me a daycab.

    Canadianhauler21 and Flint1 Thank this.

$4.50 an hour. That's why these megas have these trash drivers. Imagine if trucking paid a real wage. Instead of subsidizing someone's fees to bring you here to fix our driver shortage...

    AModelCat Thanks this.

It's not only the megas. There was an article a while ago about this. No name companies 4 or 5 trucks and 20 or more applications a year to bring in immigrant labor to fill the seats. It's hard to keep the seats full paying 9 cents a mile.

    Flint1 Thanks this.
