Owner Operator leased onto a company that trains noobs, can you train also? How so?

    You have it all wrong. Companies put newbies with trainers to try and teach them something (often blind leading the blind) to get the newbies in their own truck. That's what makes them money! It will be a cold, cold day in hell for me to put a newbie in the truck with me for the sake of making more money. Have you considered what they will tear up in the process? If you want to improve your bottom line try your own authority or go with a company that pays percentage. Running by the mile seems to me the fastest way to go broke. Just my opinion and nothing more.

    yes that's what a meant...
    put 10 noobs in a truck for a year paying them .30
    vs
    10 experienced drivers at .45

    That's big $ difference.. as long as the noobs don't total all your trucks lol

    You're forgetting to factor in the expense of getting killed when the trainee rolls the truck over while you're in the sleeper dreaming of all the pennies he's raking in for you.
