owner operator(loads)

    I'm now to the owner operator I just goy my truck and I'm wondering whats the best way to start getting loads and how it work any advice would be great thanks I'm also in Canada

    You are in for one heck of a ride .
    If you don't even have an idea about how trucking works .

    I don't even know where to start .
    When you come out of the gate not seeming to know anything about trucking other than I got a truck now what ?

    I have opertunities to get on with a company as owner opp but I’d rather get my own loads and what not

    Wouldn't it be wise to have a mentor to help you out. Yes you can make it & I hope you do. Advice on hear can be good but find someone to help you along the learning curve. I hope the best for you in your journey beep beep

    Just wondering why your asking now, its kind of abit late wouldn't you think? Best to of done this before you went ahead and bought a rig. Load boards would be the best option for you, or ask around at some of the major transport companies if there short of trucks to haul their freight, they may hire your services to haul their trailers.
