Wondering since there is enough local bulk work for it to be a livable source of income for a lot of company position, are there dedicated or local lanes that are looking for owner operators as well in Houston area. Currently a lease driver with Schneider, making enough but wondering if there's an easier way to make enough. When I was a company driver there, at a delivery in Dallas the worker offloading me said that the driver next to me comes there like twice a week, same run, same product, and the load pays something ridiculous. I'm not looking for a pot of gold, but after being OTR for just two years it's getting to the point where I rarely pull into a truck stop I haven't been to anymore, and I'm learning the ones to avoid.
